|December 02, 2025
BRISTOL science centre We The Curious is launching a programme to provide 25,000 free school visits to local children to mark its 25th anniversary.
-
The Future Sparks initiative aims to support young people's education by offering free places to primary and secondary students in the BS1 to BS16 postcodes between now and 2030. This drive seeks to reduce educational inequalities and includes entry, live science shows and transport to the venue.
Donna Speed, chief executive at We The Curious, said: "Every child deserves the chance to be curious, inspired and see a future in science. Bristol is a city full of talent and potential, but with some of the starkest educational inequalities in England, not every young person has the same chance to explore their creativity and curiosity.
