Middle-aged man arrested as woman hospitalised in Cabot Circus attack

A WOMAN was taken to hospital after being attacked in Cabot Circus.

The assault took place at about 3.10pm and sparked a sizeable police response in the city centre to the shock of busy half-term crowds.
A police spokesman said: “Officers attended within minutes and arrested a man aged in his 40s.
“The victim has been taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing”
