A LITTLE less than three months ago, Jason Knight and his Bristol City teammates made their way over to the away end at Bramall Lane to show their appreciation to the travelling fans who had made the trip to Sheffield United for the second leg of the Robins' playoff semifinal clash.

Those in attendance would have known that overturning the three-goal deficit from the first leg was always a long shot. While they were left bruised by what ultimately turned out to be a record 6-0 aggregate defeat, there was a sense of pride from both fans and players alike about just how far they'd come as a group over the course of the term.
