'Going down a treat' - MP toasts local gin in the House of Commons

A THORNBURY-based gin has been given the honour of representing its region in the House of Commons bar this week, following a nomination by local MP Claire Young.

The gin, made by 6 O'clock Gin and known for its distinctive Bristol-blue bottles, has been selected as the official guest gin in Parliament. The decision follows Young's efforts to highlight South Gloucestershire’s local producers and bring regional flavours to the heart of Westminster.
