GIVE YOUR VISITORS A WARM WELCOME WITH A GORGEOUS GARDEN
YOUR front garden is the handshake of your home - a first impression that can be welcoming, wonderful and full of life.
Whether you've got a sweeping drive or just space for a porch pot, there's plenty of potential to turn this underused area into something beautiful and beneficial.
A patch of potential
Over the past decade, millions of front gardens across the UK have been paved over.
While there's been a welcome rise in greenery recently, with more people reintroducing plants to their plots, many front gardens remain bare.
Plants in front gardens do more than please the eye.
They reduce flooding by slowing surface runoff, cool the environment through evaporation, and draw pollution from the air.
Even a few pots can provide shelter, nectar and berries for pollinators and other wildlife.
