ERHARD Struber has outlined Bristol City’s plans for the October international break, with the Robins set to play one in-house game and use the extended interval to address the “one or other gap” that has proved costly in their recent performances.

City headed into this month's international fixtures in frustrating fashion, with a 2-1 defeat to Queens Park Rangers at Ashton Gate stretching the Robins’ winless run in the Championship to four matches.

Having taken the lead through Emil Riis after 32 minutes, Struber's side conceded twice in the second half, with both Richard Kone and Paul Smyth managing to beat Radek Vitek in the Robins’ goal to ensure all three points would be heading back to west London.

The Robins have a little under two weeks to wait for their first chance to get back to winning ways when they travel to Carrow Road to face former boss Liam Manning and Norwich City. While preparations for that contest will include a training game this week, Struber and his players will be looking to make improvements on the training ground, particularly defensively.
