Football Sky TV pundit calls Rovers' Clarke appointment 'logical'

SKY Sports EFL pundit Don Goodman has labelled Bristol Rovers' decision to bring in fan favourite Darrell Clarke for a second stint as Gas head coach as "logical" following the club's sacking of Inigo Calderon.

Within the space of just under 72 hours, Rovers announced the departure of Calderon following their 4-1 final day defeat at Blackpool and announced the return of Clarke. Having been appointed as Matt Taylor’s successor on Boxing Day, Calderon made a promising start as Gas head coach following his arrival from Brighton and Hove Albion, however form fell way and Rovers fell into the bottom four.
