The Gas have only lost one of their previous nine fixtures in all competitions and bounced back from last weekend's disappointing 2-1 defeat at Walsall with a win over Cheltenham Town in the Vertu Trophy in midweek. Luke Thomas scored the only goal at The EV Charger Points Stadium, curling a fine second-half strike in off the post.
Before the Gas’ defeat to Walsall, Rovers had won five of their previous seven games, with three triumphs at the Mem. Cambridge United, Barrow and Salford were all beaten by the Pirates, with the Dons up next.
