Football Former player Pulis sees Rovers' potential, despite club's recent struggles

FORMER Bristol Rovers defender Tony Pulis has confessed that the Gas “could be a fantastic football club” if “someone got hold of it” following the club's relegation to League Two.
Rovers suffered their fifth relegation this century after finishing 22nd in League One this season following a three-year stay in the third tier. Once again, the Pirates are now tasked with getting out of League Two.
The Gas remains a club with potential yet to be realised ahead of dropping into the fourth tier for the fourth time in 25 years while their last campaign in the second division was back in 1992/93.
