Defender Mola impressed by Evans' instant impact at Rovers

BRISTOL Rovers defender Clinton Mola has praised new head coach, Steve Evans, with the new boss having an instant impact on the squad, since he joined the club.
In Evans’ first game in charge, he secured an important 1-1 draw against Crewe Alexandra, lifting the Gas out of the League Two relegation zone. Callum Morton equalised for Rovers before Adrien Thibaut was sent off in the first-half for violent conduct after an off-the-ball tussle with Mola.
The 24-year-old centre-back has started every game since the beginning of November, and spoke about his first week under the new head coach.
Mola said: “He hasn’t been here for a while, but you can just see his intent straight away. Obviously, everyone knows Steve Evans around the EFL. He's a big name, and he’s been really good so far. He's been fair with us and he’s told us what he has wanted straight away, and, yeah, you see he’s had an impact on us straight away.”

Show leftovers a bit more love
