With more battery life and some slick features, Meta's new wearable tech is truly something to celebrate
YOU'LL be seeing and hearing things thanks to the next-generation glasses that have emerged from Meta’s collaboration with RayBan.
The owner of Facebook and Instagram revealed the new devices at its Connect developers conference last week. The update affecting us most here in the UK - for now, at least - is the second-generation Al glasses.
These up the quality of the video they can capture and also have a longer battery life than their predecessors. They're still designed with three major features in mind - voice interaction with Meta’s Al system, capturing stills and video, and listening to audio via the open speakers built into the frames.
The Al assistant is always a “Hey, Meta” away and can do all the things you'd expect, as well as offer info on what you are looking at.
