Workers await High Court ruling over strike action

Staff at BAE Systems will today be told whether they can legally proceed with a strike after the company sought an injunction to block the action.

Hundreds of staff at BAE Systems were due to walk out after members voted for strike action in response to a pay increase offer below the rate of inflation.
The 416 employees due to strike are members of the Unite trade union and work in the professional services are of the business.
