The high ropes course opened in 2015, next to Blackpool Sports Centre on land previously the site for the council's greenhouses.

Ahead of the opening, Coun Gaham Cain, then Blackpool Council's cabinet member for leisure and tourism, said the course would “help Stanley Park to compete with the best parks in the country”.
