The seven-year-old began last season with a win at this meeting, before taking on the big spring festivals.

Henderson stepped him up to an extended three miles for the first time on his Aintree reappearance at the start of the month.

That proved a shrewd move as he duly recorded a cosy verdict in that Pertemps qualifier off top weight.
