Live music club blames rates for closure

A LIVE music venue in Birmingham is set to close blaming business rates and running costs.

The team behind The 5:15 Club in Stirchley, which featured live bands and other entertainment, said they would be shutting at the end of the month due to the economic climate.
The canalside venue, off Lifford Lane, replaced the Roadhouse, which closed in 2017, saying it would “proudly bring live music back to the area”.
