Cinema opens new bar in tough times

INDEPENDENT Birmingham cinema The Mockingbird has opened a new bar and kitchen in Digbeth.

The Mockingbird, which has been open 11 years, has created The Nest in an adjoining space, which will act as a standalone venue as well as a 'living room' for the cinema.
The spot was formerly part of the cinema but it was let out to Sobramesa bar in October 2021 during the challenges of Covid.
