Ajayi says thanks for six of best years at Albion

DEPARTING West Bromwich Albion defender Semi Ajayi has bid farewell to the club and to the fanbase as the curtain falls on his six-year spell at The Hawthorns.

Albion confirmed earlier this week that Ajayi would be leaving the club upon the expiry of his contract, alongside fellow senior players Grady Diangana and John Swift, when the deal officially ends at the end of next month.
Nigerian international Ajayi joined Albion from Rotherham United for £1.5 million in the summer of 2019 and proceeded to build a fruitful centre-half partnership with Kyle Bartley as Slaven Bilic led the Baggies back to the Premier League.
