We can also be five-star against tired Devils, says undaunted Wolves boss

United took a major step towards salvaging their season with Thursday’s dramatic 5-4 win against Lyon setting up a final-four date with Athletic Bilbao.

Wolves have fresher legs, having not played since last Sunday’s 4-2 victory over Tottenham, and Pereira feels they have even more to give.

“In the end, we came from the (United) game thinking, ‘okay, this is a football game, a proper football game, with everything,’ said Wolves boss Pereira. “The emotion that was there - I like this kind of match.

“It was a massive win, and this is the kind of win that brings confidence. I believe that we’ll face a team more confident. But as I said since the beginning, it’s about us. It’s not about Manchester United - it’s about us.
