Ward: I'm off to spend Moor time with family

STEPHEN Ward insists he has left Solihull Moors with “an exceptional squad of talented players to once again challenge at the top end of the National League” after exiting as director of football.
The former Wolves and Republic of Ireland defender has ended his two-year stay with the club and is planning to spend more time with his family.
“After spending 20 years in professional football, I feel now is the right time for me to step away and spend more time with my young family and explore new opportunities with them,” said the 39-year-old.
