RAIL firms are urging Aston Villa fans to stay over in London after next Saturday's FA Cup semi-final because they can't run enough trains to bring them home after the final whistle.

- HARRY LEACH News Reporter

Passengers have been told services will be "limited" after the game at Wembley, despite an afternoon kick-off. And there will be "even fewer" opportunities to return to the West Midlands by train should the match go to extra time and penalties.

Chiltern Railways, which usually operates a direct service to Wembley Stadium from Birmingham's Moor Street station, is instead only running direct trains to the ground from Warwick Parkway. Neither will there be services to Wembley from Solihull, Dorridge, Hatton, Lapworth or Warwick stations.

Villa fans who have already booked tickets from Moor Street to Wembley have been sent emails informing them of the change.
