MAJOR NEW EXHIBITION CELEBRATES BRUM'S OWN ROCK GOD OZZY
SHARON Osbourne's voice shook with emotion as she welcomed the first visitors to the new Ozzy Osbourne Black Sabbath exhibition at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.
The music manager has been married to the Aston-born 'Prince of Darkness' for more than 40 years and was in town to cut the black ribbon on a special exhibition all about the rock star.
The Working Class Hero attraction chronicles Ozzy's life from his humble beginnings in backstreet Birmingham to global rock legend.
It features gold and platinum discs, Grammy awards and Ozzy's Birmingham Walk of Stars plaque which had pride of place on Broad Street before tram works required it be removed.
Artwork and images from Ozzy's time with Black Sabbath, as well as his solo career, are on display at the gallery until September 28.
Ahead of the ribbon-cutting the ceremonial ribbon Sharon took time to see the exhibition for the first time.
