SHOCKING DOORBELL FOOTAGE RECORDED PET OWNER'S CRUEL ABUSE
Abused pet Bella was also suffering from untreated bilateral cherry eye
THE RSPCA has named and shamed a thug who hit, kicked and threw his dogs after his sickening crimes were caught on camera.
Joshua Evans, 19, of Slade Close, West Bromwich, was shown hitting, throwing, and aggressively handling two Cane Corso-type dogs in doorbell footage.
The clips, which a housing association shared with the RSPCA, led to a 10-year animal ban for the teenager.
Evans pleaded guilty to five animal welfare offences following an investigation and prosecution by the RSPCA.
Two dogs, a female named Bella, who was also suffering from untreated bilateral cherry eye, and a male named Buster, were seized by police and placed in the care of the RSPCA. Both were also underweight.
Alongside the 10-year animal ban, which he can not appeal against for seven years, Evans was also given a two-year community order with 200 hours of unpaid work and 30 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
