- NAOMI DESOUZA News Reporter

A QUICK-thinking Birmingham teenager saved the life of a woman who had stopped breathing.

Layla Warren, 14, was travelling home on the 101 bus from a friend’s birthday in Birmingham when she saw a young woman collapse after suffering an epileptic seizure.

The bus driver had dialled 999 and “calm and courageous” Layla “seized control of the emergency” and performed CPR.

Guided by the ambulance responder over the phone, Layla managed to revive the 22-year-old woman.
