Mowbray to decide on Albion's globetrotters
Birmingham Mail
|March 28, 2025
HEAD coach Tony Mowbray says he will have to weigh up whether to use those Albion players who have been on long trips during the international break ahead of tomorrow's tough Championship trip to Norwich.
The likes of Torbjorn Heggem, Mikey Johnston, Grady Diangana and Isaac Price have all been away over the past fortnight representing their countries.
"A few didn't train (yesterday) because they got back last night so it's like second day of recovery," said Mowbray. "Heggem played Tuesday, Price played Tuesday, Grady played Tuesday, so none of them trained. Grady did the warm-up because he only played 15 minutes, I think, or 20 minutes or something, but the other two didn't train.
"They are recovering really from their games and travelling. You have one day to prepare. On Friday we will have everybody available and fit, ready to go, just about. It will be the same for Norwich. People think you'll have a full week's preparation and yet you never do.
