Midfielder lays down MARC-er
Birmingham Mail
|October 08, 2025
MARC Leonard was the big beneficiary of Bright Osayi-Samuel's absence at Wrexham on Friday night.
The Blues midfielder was drafted into the lineup to make his first Championship start with Tomoki Iwata shifted to right-back to cover Osayi-Samuel.
Other than one blind pass, which gave Wrexham midfielder Lewis O'Brien the chance to work James Beadle, Leonard performed well in the engine room and his influence increased after halftime.
