Matheus has to wait his turn as boss sticks with winning combination

WOLVES boss Vitor Pereira says he will not bring Matheus Cunha straight back into his starting line-up for tomorrow's visit of Tottenham following suspension as he keeps faith with a winning team.

The 25-year-old forward is the club's top scorer with 13 goals in 26 Premier League appearances so far this season and is available again after serving a four-match ban.

However, with Wolves on a three-game winning run in the league having beaten Ipswich, West Ham and Southampton, Pereira is sticking with an unchanged team against Tottenham.

“(Matheus is) committed, working and preparing himself to help the team. But we won the last three games playing consistently, tactically and mentally, it’s fair to keep going with the same team,’ said Pereira.
