Heroes took on thug who beat up partner

HAVE-a-go-heroes bravely intervened when they spotted a thug battering his pregnant girlfriend near a pub.

Milion Kiflemariam violently lashed out at his partner when the couple bickered after a meal in Wolverhampton.

Members of the public spotted the 23-year-old as he dragged her along the street before kicking and punching her.

They quickly stepped in, pulling Kiflemariam away from his victim until police arrived at the scene.

Kiflemariam, of Britford Close, Birmingham, admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
