Harvey has ambitions to progress

|September 03, 2025
HARVEY Elliott believes Villa will provide the right environment for him to “progress as much as possible” after joining from boyhood club Liverpool.
The 22-year-old started only two Premier League games last season under Arne Slot, given the depth and quality of the Reds squad.
He impressed during England’s triumph at the 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship in Slovakia, scoring five goals in 475 minutes and earning the Player of the Tournament award.
Elliott joined Villa on loan on deadline day, with a £35 million obligation to buy agreed - meaning he is set to become a permanent member of Unai Emery’s squad.
After leaving Anfield for Villa Park, Elliott posted on Instagram to reflect on the move.
