Glass attack cop would have been dismissed - boss

AN off-duty police officer who glassed a woman in a bar would have been sacked if she hadn’t resigned.
Holly Foster, 22, from Sandwell, launched an attack on the stranger on May 4 last year.
The officer pleaded guilty to wounding at Birmingham Crown Court on January 31 and was given a 12-month suspended sentence on March 7.
She resigned with immediate effect on February 25 and declined to participate in any subsequent misconduct proceedings.
