Emery keen to tempt Tammy back to Prem

Tammy Abraham is currently on loan at Besiktas but enjoyed his previous time at Villa, helping them win the 2019 play-off final against Derby, Inset

The Villans are closing in on securing the Englishman after offering a four-and-a-half-year contract, highlighting Unai Emery's faith in him.

The 28-year-old striker was recently being pursued by a number of other Premier League clubs, but has noted that Villa is his destination of choice, having been offered a long-term deal.

However, a deal for Abraham may not be as straightforward as agreeing a fee and finalising personal terms. The striker is currently on loan with Besiktas from Roma, with the Turkish giants triggering an obligation to make the move permanent.
