02 AGREE TO WAIVE CHARGES AFTER ONE CALL COST £37,000 ALONE
Karenjeet Kaur Johal
A BUSINESSWOMAN racked up an £153,000 phone bill during just 12 days in San Francisco - with a single call costing £37,000.
Karenjeet Kaur Johal, 27, was horrified when her mobile phone contract provider Currys Business emailed to say her May bill was £57,386.
Then her June bill was £96,098.
It transpired the West Midlands business owner had been using her phone abroad during a business trip with no data spend caps or roaming passes.
Karenjeet said she asked for a £100 data limit when she set up the account - but emails from Currys claim there is no record of this in its transcripts.
