BATH sizzles this summer with events, festivals and activities for all the family to enjoy from outdoor theatre and circus shows to music, new exhibitions and more. Here, the team at Visit Bath share some of the highlights from this year’s packed calendar.

BATH ON THE BEACH - NOW UNTIL AUGUST 10
Bath’s ultimate summer destination is returning! With the city’s largest outdoor beer garden, it’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Bath on the Beach will be at Victoria Park until 10 August. It’s the epitome of a laid-back summer experience!
BATH CARNIVAL - SATURDAY, JULY 12
Bath Carnival is a free party celebrating Carnival arts, as well as the diversity of Bath's people and culture.
BATH SUMMER FAYRE - JULY 18-20
Milsom Street will be transformed into a bustling open-air market filled with the sights, sounds, and flavours of summer. Visitors can explore a wide variety of stalls offering everything from handmade crafts and artisan gifts to delicious street food and sweet treats.
FAMILY FUN DAY AT HARTLEY FARM - JULY 5
Hartley Farm west of Bath invites everyone to a good old-fashioned sports day on the farm. It will kick off with the fabulous Colourburst Clamber, where participants can dash around the fields, tackle hay bale obstacles, and race through clouds of colour.
GARDEN THEATRE FESTIVAL HOLBURNE MUSEUM - JULY 2-20
The Garden Theatre Festival is back in Bath for another year. Now with covered seating, whatever the weather, shade from the hot sun or a roof from the rain, GTF 2024 is ready for a British summer of theatre. Be immersed in the world of Shakespeare, Peter Pan, Sherlock Holmes and slapstick comedy.
