Keynsham Hockey Club have been celebrating an exceptional 2024-25 season, with unprecedented league success, growing player numbers, and national recognition a true milestone in the club's journey.
-
As part of their success, Keynsham were named Emerging Club of the Year at the recent England Hockey Awards.
Club chair Katherine Sears said: "We are immensely proud of this award and this national recognition is a testament to the incredible hard work and commitment of our players, coaches, volunteers, and community over the past year.
"From record membership growth to our most successful season ever, this award highlights our mission to make hockey accessible, welcoming and thriving in the Keynsham area."
The last couple of seasons has seen a surge in membership for the club, driven by both new and returning players, prompting the formation of a women's fourth team and a future consideration of a men's third team.
