Thawatchai upbeat, eyes triumph in Asean meet

Thailand's U23 football team left for Jakarta Indonesia to participate in the Asean U23 Championship from July 15-29 with their new coach Thawatchai Dumrong-ongtrakul eyeing the regional title.
Before the team's departure, Thawatchai said: “We are nearly 100 percent ready for the competition. We have been training and got together for 4-5 days. We had a warm-up game with Police Tero, which was really useful for our players.
“The players now understand the tactics better, and it also helped that Police Tero played with three centre-backs.”
