Adventure race, seafood fest coming
Trat province is preparing to host an international adventure race and a new seafood festival to strengthen its tourism economy and promote Koh Chang as a global sports tourism destination.
Provincial authorities, working with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Mu Ko Chang National Park and private-sector partners, have announced the "Xrace Ocean: Koh Chang 2026" adventure race set down for May 2-3 at Khlong Phlu Waterfall on Koh Chang.
The event was introduced at a press conference attended by deputy provincial governor Pira Iamsophon, TAT Trat office director Korakot Opas, Mu Ko Chang National Park chief Neramit Songsang, and Sport X Solution Co Ltd, the organiser.
