Senator wants talks on new court ruling

CHARTER REWRITE
Senator Premsak Piayura submitted a petition to the Upper House yesterday regarding the ongoing moves to amend the charter, after the Constitutional Court ruled on a three-referendum process on Thursday.
Sen Premsak’s petition was submitted after the court ruled that the drafting of a new constitution must be subject to three referendums, with the first and second combined, bypassing the election of members of a Constitution Drafting Assembly (CDA).
Sen Premsak said the issue should be discussed on Monday.
