Samui expressway plan receives boost

Transport Minister Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn has announced significant progress on the Samui Expressway Project following the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at integrating national utility systems into the development.

The MoU was signed yesterday by the Expressway Authority of Thailand (Exat), the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA), the Provincial Waterworks Authority (PWA) and National Telecom (NT).
The agreement establishes coordinated cooperation to install electricity transmission, water supply and telecommunications infrastructure along the expressway, supporting systematic, efficient and sustainable national infrastructure development.
