No damage reported after minor tremor in Krabi

All buildings and infrastructure, including Krabi International Airport, have been declared safe following a minor earthquake on Monday.
No casualties or injuries were reported, said provincial governor Angkul Seelathewakul.
Thorough inspections were conducted after the 3.5-magnitude tremor and revealed no damage to structures in the province, including the airport located in Nuea Khlong district — the same area where the quake originated.
The Meteorological Department said the earthquake struck at 2.27pm on Monday at a depth of two kilometres beneath Khlong Khamao sub-district of Nuea Khlong. Krabi province is situated along the Khlong Marui fault line, which is known for occasional seismic activity.
