New JV expecting strong demand to enhance revenue

Growth in the transport of goods, particularly Thai durians, along routes connecting Thailand with China and Southeast Asia is expected to boost revenue for a new joint venture formed recently by SCGJWD Logistics Plc, a unit of industrial conglomerate Siam Cement Group, and two Chinese investors.
SCGJWD Logistics has a 40% stake in Ruiyun International Supply Chain (Thailand), with 49% held by Ruiyun (HK) International Supply Chain, a subsidiary of Ruiyun Cold Chain, and 11% held by Golden Line Services, a subsidiary of Speed Inter Transport.
The new company serves businesses exporting goods from Thailand to China and Southeast Asia.
The joint venture has already started shipping durians from Thailand to China and delivering electronic parts from China to Thailand.
