Listed firms post sluggish performances for 2025

Listed Thai companies recorded sluggish performances in 2025 amid an economic slowdown, with total sales falling 7.2% from a year earlier, even though gains from mergers and acquisitions, business restructuring, investments and financial instruments drove an increase in net profit.

Listed Thai companies recorded sluggish performances in 2025 amid an economic slowdown, with total sales falling 7.2% from a year earlier, even though gains from mergers and acquisitions, business restructuring, investments and financial instruments drove an increase in net profit.

According to the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), 799 listed companies, representing 96.3% of the total 830 companies, have submitted their 2025 earnings reports. Of the total, 596 firms, or 74.6%, reported net profits.

In 2025, SET-listed companies reported total sales of 16.3 billion, a decrease of 7.2% year-on-year, said the bourse's senior executive vice-president and chief markets officer Soravis Krairiksh.
