Graft network raises alarm with PP

Khao Kradong and Senate key concerns

The Anti-Corruption People's Network of Four Regions have submitted a petition to People's Party (PP) MPs at parliament, urging action to address concerns over the Khao Kradong land dispute and alleged collusion in the Senate election.

The group yesterday voiced alarm at what they described as an increasingly chaotic political situation, partly fuelled by the PP's decision to back the Bhumjaithai Party (BJT) to form a government while continuing to serve as the opposition.

They questioned whether this political manoeuvre breached constitutional principles requiring the majority party to form the government and warned it could deepen public mistrust.
