The SET50 Index closed last week at 858.28 points, an increase of 31.45 points, or 3.8% from the previous week.

The most traded SET50 Futures contract $50Z25 (expiring in December 2025) was settled at 860.60 points, an increase of 40.7 points, or 5%.
A combination of ongoing optimism over the AI boom, impressive US bank earnings and an upturn in US business surveys all boosted world stock markets despite trade tensions and the US government shutdown. Confirmation of a Trump-Xi meeting gave investor sentiment a further lift. The Dow closed up 472 points (1.1%) on Friday to finish the week at 47,207.12, an increase of 2.2% from 46,190.61 the week before.
