Developers disappoint with service

Good after-sales service remains the weakest factor for residential developers in terms of consumer expectations, followed by perceived value for money, according to a recent market survey.
Sumitra Wongpakdee, managing director of property consultancy Terra Media and Consulting, said homebuyers still have strong purchasing demand and are far more discerning since the pandemic.
"They opt for projects they trust that can reassure them on key aspects regarding quality and reliability," she said.
"They choose brands that can respond to problems quickly and clearly."
Terra conducted its annual survey of prospective homebuyers across mixed generations between August and October 2025, polling 1,500 respondents via online questionnaires with a focus on brands.
