Cyber cops hand phone case to OAG

Office to decide if it's a security threat
The cyber police have submitted the “Hun Sen Audio Clip” case to the attorney general for review as a possible extraterritorial offence threatening national security.
The investigation report concerning the controversial phone call between Cambodian Senate President Hun Sen and PM Paetongtarn Shinawatra was handed to the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) yesterday for further consideration under Section 20 of the Criminal Procedure Code, which governs criminal offences committed outside the kingdom.
Pol Maj Gen Siriwat Deepor, commander of Cyber Crime Investigation Division 1 (CCIB Division 1), delivered the 50-page case file to the OAG via Sakkasem Nisaiyok, its spokesman.
