Anutin says BJT ready for more defectors

Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has extended his welcome to defectors after veteran politician Santi Promphat quit Palang Pracharath Party (PPRP) to join the ruling Bhumjaithai Party (BJT).
Mr Anutin, also interior minister and BJT leader, said his party is open to anyone who shares its political vision and is willing to contribute to the country.
His remarks came after Mr Santi tendered his resignation as secretary-general of PPRP on Monday before formally obtaining membership of BJT the following day.
