'Triple riding, collision not proof of negligence' HC raises compensation in fatal accident

The Gujarat High Court has set aside a Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT) finding of contributory negligence, asserting that the mere act of triple riding on a two-wheeler, or a head-on collision, cannot automatically establish negligence on the part of the deceased unless a causal link to the accident is proven.
