State to fight climate change dist-wise

Gujarat govt plans to implement district-wise projects, based on sector-wise emissions in each district

The state government plans to implement district wise projects to address the issue of climate change.

The move comes as India targets to achieve net zero emission by 2070. The state is also working on a policy with district-wise projections on steps to be taken to tackle climate change.

Based on the sector-wise emission figures, a district-wise policy district will also be formed to control the emissions.
