5 held for acting as money mules; Rs 2cr laundered via their a/cs
The Ahmedabad Cyber Crime Cell arrested five accused for allegedly providing their bank accounts to an international cyber fraud network based in Nigeria.
The accused acted as “money mules,” facilitating transfer of crime proceeds. They got a commission from the proceeds before sending the rest to the foreign gang.
