Saracens break their Cup duck with dominant display

SARACENS put in a dominant performance to thrash Nottingham 73-29 and get their first Premiership Rugby Cup win of the season.
The home side made use of some of their big hitters for the Midlanders’ visit and it showed as they bounced back from successive defeats.
Nottingham’s search for a first win of the season continues but they managed to pick up an attacking bonus point.
The opening stages were relatively even until Manu Vunipola’s deft grubber found Alex Lewington to barge over.
Rotimi Segun then created something out of nothing as he raced away before beating the final defender to score under the posts.
Nottingham managed to reply thanks to a sumptuous pass from Sam Hollingsworth which put Ellis Mee in the corner.
