RACING 92 are serious about tempting Marcus Smith to quit south-west London for a move to the French capital when his contract runs out at the end of next season.
Smith, earns around £400,000 a season playing in the Premiership with Harlequins, whose marquee player is South African inside centre Andre Esterhuizen.
Quins face a massive dilemma. The £5 million salary cap is due to increase to £6.4 million for the 2024-2025 season but there is a massive split among clubs about leaving it as it has been since the pandemic.
